At the end of the workshop you will be able to:

- demonstrate a practical engagement with Portrait Photography by taking your own
photographs and applying in practice what you learnt in theory
- discuss the works of some famous portrait photographers
- critically reflect on your own making of images and identify problems and difficulties

Theory Session 1 - Getting to know more about Light

Theory Session 2 - Looking at other photographers' works
By using simple words and illustrations through the works of famous portrait photographers this session will provide you with the basic info on the techniques you need to start playing creatively capturing fabulous portraits.
1:00 - 1:30 pm Lunch Break
1:30 am - 2:30 pm
Play Time - theory into practice
You will be taking photographs outside of the workshop venue and in class, for those who prefer to stay inside - implementing what you learnt. You can work on specific themes and fun tasks I will be giving you or you can choose to shoot freely. I will be guiding you when needed and giving you practical tips on how to achieve your desired results.

Tea & Biscuits while editing the photos you took
2:50 - 3:50 pm
Looking at each otherís photographs, commenting on them, discussing and resolving problems and difficulties encountered during the practical session.
3:50 - 4:00 pm
Summing up on the main workshop ideas, leaving your feedbacks, suggesting ideas for further workshops based on your needs.
